Start from a written quote
Financing is worked out on a real price. The estimate ends with a quote priced line by line, so you know what you would be borrowing for.
Say you would like to pay monthly
Tell us when we hand you the quote. We explain the options open for your job and how the application works.
The lender makes the call
The lender reviews the application and sets the terms. The decision is theirs, not ours.
Your project goes on the calendar
With the quote signed and the payments settled, we pull the permit and book the start date.
Before you sign
Get these in writing from any lender
Whoever lends the money, these answers belong on paper before you sign.
- The APR
- It folds the fees in with the interest, so it is the fair number to compare one offer with another.
- The total you repay
- A low monthly figure can hide a long term. Ask for the full amount over the life of the loan.
- Paying it off early
- Some loans charge for early payoff. Check, in case you sell the house or refinance.
- Whether the loan is secured
- Some home improvement loans put a lien on the house. Know which kind you are signing.
- What happens if the job changes
- If opening a wall turns up rot or old wiring, ask how the change order is paid: a new application, or room in the first one.
Our honest advice
Not every dated kitchen needs a full remodel
After the estimate you get one of three answers, with the photos to back it up. A full remodel quote comes only when the room calls for one.
Refresh it
The layout works and the bones are sound. New surfaces, fixtures and paint, priced on their own.
Remodel it
The room no longer works for how you live. A full remodel quote with plans, permits and a schedule.
Plan for it
Not this year. A written scope and a price to budget against, with no pressure.
