How we work
How Wrenhollow Builders works
The same routine runs on every job across North Fulton: one project manager from the first call to the final walk-through, the space measured before anyone talks about price, and a written quote that lists each part of the job on its own line.
- Free written estimate
- Permits pulled and inspections booked for you
- Change orders in writing, signed before any work
- Demo site by Levelwork
Good to know before you book
- On paper firstthe layout, the scope and the price, before demolition
- Every changein a signed change order before the work it covers
- In writingthe price of the work, before any of it starts
What we hold to
Four things on every job
Plans before prices
The space is measured and the scope written down before anyone talks about money, and you keep the plans whatever you decide.
Every line on its own
Demolition, materials, labor, the subcontractors and the permits each get a line on the quote, so you can hold it up against anyone else's.
The honest answer first
When a refresh will do, you hear that before any remodel quote. A full gut is quoted only when the room calls for it.
One contact, start to finish
The person who books your estimate is the person you call about the permits, the schedule and every change order.
What we do, and don't
Where our job starts and stops
Your insurer decides a claim and your lender decides a loan. Here is what we take on, and what we leave to them and to you.
We do
- Kitchen remodeling
- Bathroom remodeling
- Basement finishing
- Home additions
- Whole-home renovation
- Pull the permit and book the inspections the work needs
We never
- Ask for a signature on the first visit
- Start work before the price is agreed in writing
- Waive, rebate or pay an insurance deductible
- Interpret your policy, or speak for you to your insurer, negotiate or settle a claim
Words on the truck
What the licenses and programs mean
Words you will see on contractors' trucks and websites: what each one means for you, and what to ask before you sign.
Georgia residential or general contractor license
Georgia's State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors, under the Secretary of State, licenses the companies that take on remodels and additions. Ask for the license number and look it up on the state's license lookup before you sign.
Bonded and insured
Liability insurance covers damage to your property and workers' compensation covers injuries to the crew. A bond protects you if the work is not finished. Ask for certificates sent to you by the insurer, not a photocopy.
Lead-safe certified firm
A federal rule asks firms that disturb paint in older homes to be certified and to follow lead-safe work practices. Ask to see the firm's certificate before work starts in an older house.
